Brochure "Forgotten Violin Masters of Old Vilnius"„

During the project implementation „"Forgotten Violin Masters of Old Vilnius"“, the Vilnius City B. Dankvartas String Instrument Workshop and School has prepared an information leaflet designed to present the history of Vilnius violin makers, the traditions of string instrument making, and the significant cultural heritage of the city.

The brochure provides information about the violin makers who worked in Vilnius, their activities, workshops, instruments they produced, and their historical significance for Lithuanian musical culture. The publication introduces a lesser-known, but extremely important part of Vilnius' history – the old tradition of stringed instrument making, which shaped the city's musical life and contributed to the preservation of its cultural heritage.

Project „"Forgotten Violin Masters of Old Vilnius"“ aims to actualize and present to the public the legacy of Vilnius violin masters, to promote interest in traditional crafts, instrument craftsmanship and the history of Lithuanian music.
