The stringed instrument workshop in Vilnius was established in 2017 in response to the growing demand for professional musical instrument repair and restoration in Lithuania. The workshop's founder, master luthier Gerardas Rūkas, regularly travelled from London to carry out commissions even before the workshop was founded, and later the operation was fully relocated to Vilnius.

Today the workshop provides high-quality stringed instrument restoration and repair services to both professional musicians and amateurs.

The workshop's main specialisation is the restoration of violins, violas, cellos and double basses. We carry out both minor repair work and complex restoration projects, aiming to preserve the instrument's original sound and value.
